ARTHUR (a.1) and Mary Williams are listed as the parents of DANIEL on the parish record of his baptism - see below.
A search of parish records for Staffordshie and Shropshire for "our" Arthur Williams resulted in only one reasonable fit - an Arthur Williams
who was baptised at St ?? Ightfield, Salop (Shropshire) on 2nd Februarury 1741. This fit is not conclusive. Incidentally "our" Arthur's parents
were also called Mary and Arthur, but we have no information about them.

DANIEL Williams (1.1) was born in 1771 in Woodcote, Salop. He was baptised on 29th December 1771 at St Mary's Sheriffhales,
which is about two miles fromWoodcote.

Daniel married a "Sarah", possibly Sarah Allen at St Matthew's Church, Walsall on 9th August 1802.
Sarah Allen? (1.1w) was baptised 7th June 1783 at Walsall, her parents were Williams and Sarah Allen.

2.4  Margaret, baptised 9th June 1811 at St Lawrence's Church, Gnosall, Staffs.

JAMES Williams (2.2) was born in Gnosall or Doley, Staffordshire in 1805; the 1851 census quotes Gnosall, the 1861 census quotes Doley!
James married Elizabeth Frost on 31st December 1832 at St Peter's Church, Norbury, Staffs. (See Parish Record 2)
Elizabeth Frost ( 2.2w) was baptised on 28th February 1808 at St Lawrence's Church, Gnosall, Staffs. Her parents were John and Sarah
Frost. See also 1861 Census return for Gnosall/Outwoods.

Children of James and Elizabeth Williams (nee Frost) - They had three sons and three daughters.

3.1  Sarah, baptised 14th November 1833 at the Church of St Mary and St Chad, Brewood, Staffs.
3.2  John, baptised 24th July 1836 at St Lawrence's Church, Gnosall.
3.3  Elizabeth, born 1843.
3.4  James, baptised 19th March 1844 at St Lawrence's Church, Gnosall.
